The use of a functional format, on the other hand, will also benefit a candidate who has good credentials to boast. This format will drill down the applicant’s specific skills and the tasks performed which will fortify the confidence of the employer in what the applicant has to offer. This type of format will be very good at disguising the fact that the applicant has not advanced in his prior field. If the case is that the applicant really wants to advance in his career, the applicant can use this if he wants to try out a different industry. Nevertheless, this will disguise any negative perception if the applicant has hopped from a lot of different jobs as this will only highlight his skills if written properly.
